It has been almost 20 years ever since I got put on a piano bench by my composer grandpa. Once, I did not like how time consuming it was - so I learned to be calm when facing obstacles. Once, I did not like how harsh my teachers were being - so I learned to be hardworking. Once, I did not like the piano at all, thinking it was only because of my music family. But now, I am glad that I own such an invaluable skill. I can sit by the piano for hours and forget the time. I persevered, now only sweetness remains. I enjoy every bit of sound I produce - now so can you.
I am currently a music major enrolled in one of the most prestigious music programs nationwide. I play accompaniment, solo and chamber music. I have taught at a private music school, and am capable of teaching students at all ages and all levels. I will not only help you build an excellent theory foundation, but also a better understanding of what lies beyond the scores. I am very patient, approachable and responsible, and I hope these are the qualities you are looking for.
Musicians are probably a group of the most eccentric people you will ever meet - I cannot promise to be the crazy passionate one that you may prefer but I do promise to make you amazed by how beautifully you can play.
On a side note, I will be graduating in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music, Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Political science and German double minors. So, as a joke, I do meet people outside of the music realm too,
