I am currently a doctoral candidate in psychology at St. Johns University. Starting in high school and continuing till today, I have tutored students in a variety of subjects ranging from college-level writing and math to SAT and GRE prep. I have coached kids in tennis and basketball as well as instructed beginners in guitar and piano. I am also an ordained rabbi and have tutored in Bible, Talmud, Cantillation, and Jewish Law.

For me teaching is enjoyable. It gives me the chance to work with someone and find out where the material is difficult for them. By truly understanding the perspective of the student, I can present the material in a way that is easily understood and processed.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
