I studied Japanese for four years at the Bronx High School of Science and completed my Japanese studies at Temple University. I have taken the 4-kyuu and N1 Japanese-Language Proficiency Tests and successfully passed. I have worked at Book-Off, Sunrise Mart, and DISH where I had to use Japanese with clients and fulfilled my duties adequately. These experiences put me in a good position to approach Japanese language tutoring from the standpoint of the learner, as I have likely experienced the same hurdles that they have.
I took communication, linguistic anthropology, and race and language classes in college, which provides me with sound linguistic knowledge. I will parlay this data into fact-based lessons that can aid with English, writing, and other such language arts classes.
