I have Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University (with a lot of courses in physics), an MBA from Stanford University, and a Doctorate in Management, Marketing, and Finance from Pace University. I also have an honorary Doctorate from the Siberian State Aerospace University in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, at which I worked and taught courses for nineteen years in a relationship that was started by the U.S. Department of State.
I taught college courses for 28 years -- the first 17 of those years on a part-time basis as an adjunct, while I worked full-time as a corporate executive in technology-based companies. I began full-time teaching in 1999, retiring with tenure from SUNY Oneonta in 2005 and moved on to teach five years at St. John Fisher College before finally stopping my full-time teaching.
Over the years, I have tutored many of my students and the children of friends at levels from high school to college to graduate school. My greatest strengths are in math and the physical sciences, and with my doctorate, I have taught (and worked in) business for many years and can easily handle many business subjects.
