I attended the Division of Adult Professional Studies at Roberts Wesleyan College. There, I enrolled in the Organizational Management(OM) Program which is a accelerated, adult, degree – completion program.

The course work for the OM program consisted of a Statistical Methods and Research module. Statistics is the study of the collection, organization, analysis, and interpretation of data. Statistics is useful in research, and I was required to use it to help me communicate the results of my research experiments. Statistics could be seen as a very hard subject and I knew I needed a tutor in order to interpret the data that I would be collecting.

I also knew that I needed a tutor to help me understand specific statistical information and apply it with the use of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets. Jim S. showed me the methods for defining, researching, analyzing, and evaluating my research problem that was significant in my professional career.
