I have over 9 years experience teaching Chemistry, Physics and Physical Science at AP, Honors and conceptual levels. I hold a degree in Physics, a Masters degree in Educational Technology and I am a member of Mensa, but my most important qualification is the passion I have for helping young people master the physical sciences.

I relish the opportunity to make science fun and interesting for young people. It always makes me proud to see my students rise to challenges and succeed on standard measures. My AP Physics students averaged a 4.0 on their AP exam. Another year, I led my school’s Science Olympiad team to compete at the state level. I could see then that my students felt the same intellectual and personal engagement with science that I had. An active umpire of both baseball and softball and a former coach, I enjoy working with young people outside of the classroom.

I can provide a quiet and comfortable study environment conveniently located in the West Village as well as tutoring at any public library or at your residence.
