I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in Early Childhood Education which means I was trained to teach from birth through 3rd grade. However, much of my 10 years of teaching experience is with older students. I have successfully prepared young people to take and pass the GED.
As a tutor, I begin with an assessment of your skills based on your grade level and the New York State Core Curriculum Standards. Then I develop a plan to get you where you need and/or want to be. My focus is on conceptual understanding in all subjects I tutor.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
