Abigail tutored my daughter for the SAT's and all her scores increased significantly. Her opportunities to get into the college of her choice has dramatically increased! My daughter is a tough-sell too. Although a good student, as with many teenagers, she did not take my encouragement to study for the SAT's very seriously. She kept putting it off and minimizing it. I could not get through. When I called Abigail, I explained this to her. My daughter was resistant right until Abigail showed up at our door. Abigail was unassuming but got right down to business. My daughter responded to her with a renewed interest and vigor in her studies. Even more than that, she respected Abigail's knowledge and learned so much about how to navigate the difficult questions. Abigail set a schedule for my daughter that got her right on track. After 6 sessions with studying in between, my daughter can now set her aim high! Abigail is not only knowledgeable in every subject, and Kaplan trained, she also has a wonderful personality and teaching style. I highly recommend her with no reservation whatsoever. Abigail is one of the best tutors I have ever had. She is extremely punctual. Math is my worst subject and I have a very hard time finding anyone who meshes with my learning style. Abigail is that person. She moves with you at your pace while guiding you to make the correct choices. She knew how to solve every problem in my book without having to reference any extra materials. If I was still in the area I would go back to this tutor.

My daughter commented on how good and knowledgeable Abbey is. She feels much better in regards to the math problems on the SAT. Abbey is taking her time and explaining things to her in a way the makes complete sense. She also commented that we should have gotten Abbey a long time ago and not spent our money on SAT courses at the colleges. This seems to be money well spent!!

I can't say enough positive things to reflect the credit she truly deserves. She is absolutely amazing. The consistent quality of her lessons is excellent. She is always prepared, punctual and very responsive. She goes above and beyond to provide her students with the best material. Every lesson has been 5 stars, and if any of my reviews say otherwise its only because I mistyped lol. My son has covered preCalc and is moving through Calc in a short amount of time and with deep understanding. He has gained more confidence and is comfortable doing his homework. Abbey is absolutely awesome. She has been tutoring my son in trigonometry and chemistry for three months now. She is knowledgeable in every topic and never has to stop to look anything up; the entire session is spent tutoring and no time is wasted. I have never heard her utter a negative or sarcastic word. All reinforcement is positive, even when my son gets something wrong. She is incredibly patient and enthusiastic, always on time, always professional. Abbey shows my son methods for solving problems differently, and sometimes more easily, than he's learned at school. She easily relates to my son and has helped improve his grades, but more importantly, increased his confidence and relieved his stress. We cannot thank her enough.

Abigail was an incredible tutor, she is very patient, smart, and a remarkable confidence booster. I have never been good at mathematics, and I needed to take 3 very difficult college math courses this semester, thanks to her I was able to receive a 4.0! She is good at explaining concepts in different ways to find the best strategy to help her student understand. Although sometimes she was a bit difficult to come in contact with, she eventually always returned phone calls. Very sweet girl, and I would recommend her to anybody needing help in math.

As my daughter struggled with geometry in 10th grade I decided to get her a tutor to see if it would help. In no time my daughter was scoring higher on her tests and homework grades. I was pleased that getting her a tutor was worth it. I did not pay for the sessions ahead of time because there were weeks when she was either doing well, and I did not want her to be dependent on the tutor and there were weeks when she needed the extra reinforcement so Anna ended up passing her Geometry Regents. So Thank you very much for providing a great tutoring service and tutors who are educated and experienced.

Abigail was a great tutor. My SAT math score went from a 480 to a 600 in a 5 session span. She clearly explained problems in many different ways and I always left understanding what we had reviewed. I would highly recommend Abigail for tutoring services. Abigail prepared my daughter to take her SATs and her second attempt at the NYS Trignometry Regents exam. She took her time in explaining the concepts and offered assistance in between the tutoring sessions. I am happy to report that my daughter raised her SAT scores and passed the NYS Trignometry Regents and has now earned an Advanced Regents High School Diploma.

Abigail is a very pleasant woman. My son is not one who accepts tutoring easily ... in fact he refused to get a tutor. Once he met Abigail he was fine. I did not sign up for the package deal because I wasn't sure how long he was going to last. In the end I wish I had taken the deal because tutor and student hit it off wonderfully. Abigail was also very available. If we felt an extra day of tutoring was necessary, she would go out of her way to fit us in.
