I have acquired over 10 years of experience teaching courses within several disciplines in 4 colleges.
During my employment with TCI (Technical Career Institute), College of Technology, I taught Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
As an adjunct professor for two years and professor for five years with Interboro Institute, three semesters a year, I taught six or more classes within the Computer Science department as Visual Basic, HTML, Intermediate and Introduction to Computer Technology, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Each course included a theory and hands-on component.
I also mentored the college's students.
I was hired as a Lecturer for John Jay College of the City University of New York to teach several intermediate algebra and finite math courses.
I led a 300-level database course at Touro for five years. The content included database creation and management concepts, SQL and lab work which implemented Microsoft Access.
I demonstrate experience, ethics, dedication and aspiration toward excellence. Each semester of the ten years of employment with the colleges, student evaluation results are, predominantly, above average.
I gained years of experience encouraging and mentoring ethnically diverse student populations.
