The primary reason why people do badly in exams and in coursework is due to essay writing skills. You can have encyclopedic knowledge of a subject and still not be able to put pen to paper in a sophisticated and persuasive way. I would help to guide you through both the content of your course, and more importantly, the style of writing necessary to your subject.

I teach Politics, Sociology, Anthropology and Psychology to graduate level students. I am available for proofreading and for help with essay writing and study skills. I have a summa cum laude degree from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom and am now a graduate student in NYC. I have years of private teaching experience. I am currently extremely flexible and have no full-time commitments. Don't hesitate to get in touch and we can go from there!

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Anthropology

I have an undergraduate summa cum laude degree in Sociology, Politics, and Anthropology from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. I also am about to finish my MA degree in Anthropology at the New School for Social Research.
