I am a self-professed lifelong student with a broad range of passions. I have had a successful career as a software engineer in a multinational, multi-billion dollar company based in Manhattan and have since left to pursue graduate studies in creative writing. During my time in graduate school I have had the opportunity to teach high school students and discovered that I loved doing that as well.

My specializations include computer science/programming, math, English, writing/grammar/vocab. Regardless of the subject, I strive to tailor my methods to the needs and abilities of each student to provide sufficient challenges and to promote healthy learning experiences.

I'm willing to travel to most parts of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and some parts of Queens. I have a 24-hour cancellation policy, but am perfectly willing to work with you to find a convenient time for a make-up session.

I look forward to hearing from you and helping you succeed!

Great Tutor — John is very good, and he explains everything you need very detailed. If it wasn't for John, I don't think I would have understand the course I am taking with computer programming, and the hour rate is very affordable. Thanks you John. I am near finishing my high school diploma and looking forward for more sessions. ...
