Hi! I am a young, energetic college professor. I currently work at Lehman College where I teach English Composition. I can help you get ahead by tutoring you in any type of English class! If you need help in literature, I can help you understand complex themes and symbols by breaking down a novel or story and explaining it in simple, easy to understand terms. If you need help in writing, I can apply the same lessons and advice I give my freshmen students on how to compose an analytical or research paper by coming up with a clear and concise thesis statement, supporting paragraphs, and an intelligent conclusion. I have taken and excelled at the GRE and SAT and will be able to help boost your score. If you are an ESL student and want to improve your English fast, I can help! I have taught ESL for three years, so I know how to come up with a lesson for a student of any level, beginner to advanced, by speaking to you at your level and pace.

As a young professor, I am able to easily relate to students because I was one myself not so long ago! I like to make my lessons challenging but also entertaining and engaging.

I have an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Lesley University and a B.A. in English Literature from Emmanuel College, where I graduated summa cum laude. My writing and photography have appeared in such magazines as McSweeney's, The Atlantic, Identity Theory, and Ekleksographia.
