I'm a Brown University graduate living in Brooklyn who tutors primarily in English, Music, Spanish, and computer software. I've been tutoring since I was in high school, realizing my knack for it after friends would approach me for one-on-one help in all kinds of subjects after class. For me, tutoring is as much about teaching as it is about learning -- learning how a student learns, and tailoring the teaching approach to best fit the student.
A little more about me: I grew up on Long Island, and attended Brown University where I double-majored in English and Music, graduating with honors. After college, I spent three months living in Madrid, Spain, where I honed my Spanish language skills. Tutoring is a nice supplement to my primary work, which is sound design and music composition for theatre. I've been studying voice and guitar for 9 years, and can give singing, ear training, and basic guitar lessons as well.
