Hi,

I have a BA in Mathematics from New York University and I will be going for a PhD in Mathematics next year.

I have extensive experience in tutoring, and my approach is to create a strong foundation in whatever area of math I tutor, allowing each student to fully grasp the material and excel. This method is invaluable for preparing for math classes and exams which focus on not just what you know, but also how you think.

I received a perfect score on the SATs in Math (800) as well as the SATII Math IIC (800) and a 97, 97, and 98 on the Math Regents I, II, and III respectively. I scored in the 99th percentile on the GRE in Quantitative Reasoning (perfect 170,) and the 96th percentile in Verbal (166).

I am a successful tutor because I have a strong proficiency in the subject material I teach and a patient and creative approach that makes any subject simple to understand.

If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Actuarial Science

I have passed actuary exams P/1, FM/2, MLC, and MFE. I also received credit for VEE Economics and VEE Corporate Finance (part of the SOA Actuary track).
