My name is Aaron, I've recently begun working for a professional tutoring company, but I still plan to find students on my own periodically. I enjoy tutoring Physics and many different areas in Math, including Geometry, Algebra 1 and 2, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. I've also undergone training in SAT Math and ACT Math and Science. I'm well versed in test taking strategies as well as the content itself. I will provide my students with prep materials as well as document our progress with mock exams.
Just a bit about myself - I earned a Master's Degree in Physics, and throughout graduate school I taught introductory level Physics courses and Physics lab courses. I received outstanding student reviews for my courses and I was even approached by students asking which sections I taught so that they could enroll in mine specifically. In addition, I've tutored privately since I was an undergraduate. As an undergraduate I majored in Physics, Math, and Philosophy. I am also a big sports fan, I played soccer in college, and I love watching basketball and many other sports as well!
I believe what makes me most effective as a tutor is my ability to communicate effectively. I listen intently which allows me to understand each student's unique needs and I do my best to convey information clearly. I can teach in a variety of styles in order to cater to the individual needs of a student. I can help with anything from homework assignments, to exam preparation, to simply improving a students understanding of the material.
Please feel free to reach out to me, we can discuss your individual needs and expectations and decide on the best approach from there. I look forward to hearing from you!
