I am dedicated and hard working with over ten (10) years' experience teaching and tutoring students in the New York public school system. It's a joy to see my students excel and reach their true potential. This is a measure of my satisfaction and it has been great over the years. I have been tutoring students from elementary through college in all areas of mathematics, ranging from basic math to calculus. I have also successfully tutored students taking such standardized test as ISSE, SHSAT, SAT and ACT. This also involves tutoring the mathematics component of the GRE and GMAT exams.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have been working in an after-school program for the past 12 years where I assist students from k-8th grade in Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies homework/projects.
With a Master's in Special Education I am very comfortable working with a diversity of elementary students, helping them to overcome challenges.
With over 20 years experience accrued in the Caribbean as well as here in NYC I know that I am more than able to make a significant impact on my students.

Linear Algebra

I majored in mathematics for my BSc and hence did all the mathematics undergraduate courses that were offered.

These courses were Algebra 1,2 &3 and Topology, Analysis and mathematical methods, Numerical Analysis and Optimization, and Calculus and Co-ordinate Geometry. Most important was Linear programming.

Regents

I majored in math and chemistry for my undergraduate BSc degree. My minor was physics.

I taught and tutored high school math, chemistry and physics in the Caribbean.

Here in New York City, for the past 10 years, I have been successfully tutoring students taking the integrated algebra, geometry, algebra 2 & trigonometry, chemistry and physics test, all at Regents.

Thus I am well equipped and experienced to help my students excel in their respective exams.
