During my undergraduate years I worked as tutor in Brooklyn College. I tutored Geology and Classical Greek and Roman Literature. I also proofread essays and papers both in English and Spanish. I have earned a B.A. in Spanish. History and social studies are one of my best academic strengths. English is another subject I tutor well, including Shakespeare, literature, and poetry. I completed a Summer Study in London (July 2007) that focused on Shakespearean literature and performance. As for my teaching style, I am animated, energetic, and passionate when I speak. My tone of voice is moderate. I usually like to stand and use hand gestures, when necessary, so students could pay attention and focus. I like to use basic examples, in which students can relate to give students a better understanding of a subject.
