Knowledgeable Tutor in History, Spanish, Biology and Chemistry

Hi! I'm Kevin and I am a recent graduate of New York University. I was a history major and also was on the Premed track. I am currently applying for a master's programs in biology and eventually intend to apply for medical school. While at NYU, I held free Spanish tutoring sessions sponsored by the student club I was a part of, in which we provided help for anyone with questions concerning their homework. In addition, I have also taken many classes during my undergraduate career that relate to the areas of history, chemistry, and biology. I enjoy helping others trying to understand concepts and ideas not only because it helps me solidify my own knowledge, but also because of the satisfaction I get from helping others succeed. American History

I was a history major at New York University and have taken a number of classes relating to American History. I feel that I have a firm grasp and knowledge of the history of the United States

Biology

Having been a pre-med student at NYU, I was required to take General Biology classes, where I was able to gain a good understanding of the concepts that underlie biological systems. In addition, I took Molecular and Cell Biology which allowed to delve even more into the subject and see how the body works. Chemistry

Having been a pre-med student at NYU, I was required to take General Chemistry classes, where I was able to gain a good understanding of the main concepts. In addition, I took Organic Chemistry which allowed to delve even more into the subject. Studying for the MCAT, in conjunction with the courses, has taught me how to study for the sciences. With the education I received, I believe I can tutor high school students taking chemistry.

European History

I have taken a number of classes based on European history ranging from antiquity up to the present.

Spanish

I am a quasi-native Spanish speaker as I have grown up in a household where Spanish was the primary language spoken. I had been the translator for my grandmother and aunt when they lived in New York. In addition to tutoring friends in high school with Spanish, I also held free Spanish tutorials at New York University with the help of my student group.

World History

The history department at NYU requires its students to take classes that range from a number of different time periods and geographic locations. As a result of the quality of the education I received from being a history major at NYU, I feel that I have a good deal of knowledge of world history.
