I am passionate about each student having his or her "aha" moment. I remember growing up and feeling empowered with the help of my older sisters' guidance in demystifying a subject. I was then able to "do it on my own." Of course, this is an incredibly empowering moment.
I want to help students or young adults sit in class and understand what is being taught by bridging learning gaps, small or large that may have arisen.
I am a certified High School teacher with 6 years of classroom experience. I have taught high school Spanish, elementary Science and have tutored elementary Math, English and test prep as well as high school English and test prep. I have also worked with toddlers and adults in my professional past.
I am incredibly patient and effective and when I have worked for other tutoring agencies, I have often learned of parents later asking for me by name.
I am a passionate educator and will do what is necessary to help you or your child excel.
