Hi parents and students,

My name is Natalie and I am a forthcoming high school mathematics teacher. I graduated from a NYC specialized high school and I am currently studying at New York University, majoring in Mathematics Secondary Education. I have been a volunteer math tutor for the last 5 years, and have grown to work quickly and effectively on any mathematics subject. I am exceptionally patient and understanding of all students needs.

My best subjects include: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus (including both Calculus AB & BC).

Calculus

Calculus is by far my best subject. I took AP Calculus BC my senior year of high school, attaining a score of 5 on the AP exam. For the last year, I have tutored college students in Calculus I and Calculus 2. I feel very confident tutoring this subject.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have been tutoring students grades K-5 for the last 5 years, in addition to middle and high school students. I have worked with younger children outside of tutoring as well, as a babysitter.

Softball

I have been playing softball for the last 12 years. I played varsity softball in high school as a first baseman and left fielder. I led the league in doubles my senior year and ranked among the top in batting average. I am now playing on the NYU women's softball team. I am capable of coaching players in fielding, hitting, throwing, catching, etc.
