I am a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who has my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the nationally recognized professional organization the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). I have tutored children in differing capacities since I was in college.

I now specialize in tutoring children K-5 for various subjects including literacy (including reading, writing, comprehension, critical thinking, etc). I also enjoy providing services to children 0-5 years wherein emotional, developmental and cognitive skills are targeted to prepare children for preschool and kindergarten. Every child is different, and goals are determined after speaking with caregivers and observation of the child. School readiness skills parents may choose to include: following daily routines, responding to simple directions, displaying joint attention, exhibiting verbal turn taking during conversation and nonverbal turn taking during play, recognizing letters and logos, etc.
