I believe in the power of one-on-one education and thrive to practice innovative teaching strategies with my students. I enjoy being creative while teaching, and I find it essential to modify my teachings depending on a student's personality, skill set, and other interests. Language and literature are my expertise. With a bachelor's degree in English Literature and Language, a minor in French, and a Master's in Comparative Literature, I am qualified to prepare students for various exams, including the SAT, SAT II, ACT, and TOEFL. I also have several years of experience teaching English as a second language and Spanish grammar and writing; years that have expanded my interest in pedagogy and how important it is to continue learning as a mentor. Ultimately, I believe learning should be challenging AND fun.
I am currently completing an internship at Columbia University Press and working a part-time job.
My schedule is very flexible, and I look forward to hearing from you!
