Hello!

My name is Andy, and I've taught and tutored ESL for over five years. I've taught at a number of schools in NYC, and have always had lively, exciting classrooms, and friendly relationships with students, going so far as to throw parties for my students. I enjoy teaching language, which I'm good at, and I enjoy people.

I am personable, friendly, and interested in helping students with what they need. I teach grammar, conversation, writing, and have experience teaching TOEFL preparation and college essay writing. I have a degree with special honors in English, and am a capable writer. If I know what you need, I will develop the classes and materials you need to improve.

I teach students from all over the world. That said, I do know quite a bit of Russian, too, so I can give special help to Russian-speakers.

In my other life, I am an artist (writer and shadow puppeteer). The enthusiasm I bring to my art I bring to all my work.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
