In a nutshell, I am a passionate, driven, open-minded individual who is a strong proponent of education. I am very creative and I understand that everyone has a distinct method of learning. As a tutor, it my job to find out the best way that each student intakes information, and then use that method to make sure they are getting the information. Most importantly, I understand and put into practice that tutoring is not about giving answers but showing students how to arrive at the answers themselves.
I graduated from Syracuse University in 2009 with my B.A in Political Science. I also had a minor in African American History and was consistently on the Dean's List. I have experience giving workshops to both small and large groups. I have also tutored students in middle school and high school. I have years of experience in college counseling and career development as well. I am very aware of my strengths and weaknesses and always open to learning. We are all students in the classroom of life, and if you've stopped learning, you've must have stopped living too.
Please feel free to ask me any questions! I'm an open book!
