During my graduate composition studies at New York University, I studied privately under Academy Award® nominated composer David Spear, and was commissioned on several works. This included arrangements for the Off-Broadway ballet production "Nijinsky In Asylum" a Didjeridu underscore for Tennessee Williams' play "Suddenly Last Summer", a workshop of a new opera "La Dolce Vita", as well as several independent films seen in the Orphan Film Symposium, and the Sundance, Tribeca and Edinburgh film festivals.
Since completing my Masters, I've also been involved with a number of various internet commercials, as well as an Off-Broadway production of Mary Shelly's "Frankenstein". One of the most rewarding aspects of music though, are the students to whom I give private music lessons. I especially enjoy working with children as they often have so much energy that can be channeled into music and expressing their creativity without limitation. It is for all my students that I constantly strive to be a better instructor and musician.
