My name is Randi and I work with the pre-K to third grade population only. I am a Cooperative Team Teacher in a first grade setting. I am both a General Education Teacher, and I have a Special Education license. I work collaboratively with a General Education teacher. I teach guided reading. I conference with the students and work in small group instruction. I teach Shared Reading, Phonemic Awareness and I work on introductory writing skills. I work with groups of children on a one to one basis with reading and writing projects. I also work on mathematics, with children who struggle with "Everyday Mathematics" subjects and problems. I help clarify the difficulties that children have the most problems with.
I would just like to say that I believe education is the key to success for young children. As a teacher, I feel that I motivate students in confirming their inner strengths and abilities and to discover what inspires them. My focus is to provide a stimulating learning environment that supports the students to trust their own opinions while building their confidence so that the students can realize their full potential.
As a dedicated professional, I realize how important education is in preparing children for a successful future. I hope to make a difference in each child's life by instilling the love of learning and the constant desire for knowledge.
