Hello there, potential students. As well as a tutor with eight years of experience, I'm a student myself, so I'm eager to help! As I earned an honors BA from New York University (where I created my own major, combining cultural studies, journalism and film), I tutored fellow NYU-ers in writing and literature and prepared high school students for the SAT. After graduation, I spent a year as a Writing Fellow at NYU Abu Dhabi, where I was a teaching assistant with literature, philosophy, and sociology courses, and worked on student writing, critical thinking and analytical skills in the Writing Center. I am currently continuing my studies at Columbia. I have a broad range of tutoring experience: I’ve worked with everyone from middle-school students preparing for the ISEE to teens prepping for the SAT, college students crafting theses to adults studying English and editing works for publication. I enjoy developing methods that best suit each individual learner and project at hand.
