I recently received my substitute teaching license and I have worked as a substitute teacher since receiving my license. I believe that as teachers it is important to help students develop as individuals. Teachers should help students become self-sufficient learners. Students will need this skill when they are in the real world. Teachers should support the interests of their students.
I am a firm believer in helping children reach their fullest potential in both academics and outside the classroom. As indicated in the enclosed resume, I worked in a push-in ESL kindergarten class as a volunteer. I have experience working in New York public schools; most of the experience comes from my fieldwork.
I worked as a volunteer in a Kindergarten push-in ESL class at P.S.52. I believe that I would be an asset to this school. In my last position I worked with children of all abilities; ranging from low-level ESL students to advanced ESL students. I am able to integrate all levels, so that every student is challenged to the best of his/her abilities
I am able to give each student the attention that they need. I believe that I would be a great asset to your staff. I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you.
