I am a New York-based freelance percussionist and drummer. Prior to moving to New York, I was an adjunct professor of percussion, drum set, jazz improvisation and music theory at Cincinnati Christian University. I have a Master's degree in percussion from Cincinnati Conservatory, where I served as a graduate instructor and a Bachelor's in percussion from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. Last year I performed 250 engagements as a drummer, jazz vibraphonist, Latin percussionist and classical percussionist.
I have a passion for teaching and love watching students develop an interest in a subject and improve greatly.
