I'm a pro photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. Along with being a commercial shooter, I'm also a digital imaging and workflow consultant, training photographers, including amateurs, advanced amateurs and professionals, Lightroom, Aperture, Photoshop and Mac-related software. I enjoy teaching photography and digital imaging and seeing my students experience new discoveries in the process.
I often teach my students one-on-one, sometimes in person at their own computers, or, lately, via Skype and/or iChat sessions via the Internet (as this has more flexibility with students' schedules). Sometimes, a photography field trip is preferable to help my students with their cameras and equipment in a hands-on environment. Also, I often follow-up lessons with a customized screencast, recording a specific lesson on my computer and posting for the student to access. These screencasts are like visual notes which the student can always refer back to. I make these recordings available through the Internet, password coded for the specific student.
Helping students discover all the aspects of photography, both in theory and function, is an exciting process. Hopefully you'll allow me to be your guide.
