Math has been of passion of mine and can be a great foundation for problem solving and analytical skills. My passion in math goes back to my high school days where I took advanced classes and followed with me to Muhlenberg College where I majored in Economics and Finance. While in college I tutored for 4 years in statistics, probability, Micro / Macro Economics and Econometrics. This laid the foundation for me take my skills to the finance world where I have successfully used my math skills to train and tutor other colleagues.
Working with children is especially fulfilling; as the basic building blocks associated with math creates the foundation for broader success. I will pinpoint the developmental areas of the student, work on them for as long as it takes, and adjust the tutoring pace accordingly. My goal is to make sure the students I work with get the results they want.
I am a very comforting and warm person that truly enjoys tutoring children at various levels. My background has afforded me the opportunity to truly see how the basics of math can create the foundation for a robust problem solving skill set.
Math should not be hard to understand if explained the correct way. I look forward to the opportunity of sharing my passion and helping children compliment their existing study tools with my guidance and assistance.
My tutoring experiences have spanned the spectrum of basic math principals to the complexities of econometrics. Additionally, I have also privately coached tennis (another passion of mine)
Please feel free to write me with any questions or additional information you require. Look forward to making Math and tutoring fun!
