My name is Iris and I am currently studying for my Master's in Occupational Therapy. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and I am part of the National Leadership Society. I am good with numbers and the conceptual aspect of biology due to my love of math and science. I have received a score of 90 and higher on all of the New York State Regents exams. I have taken the ACT, SAT, and GRE, and I am familiar with the format and questioning for all three exams. I have previous experience tutoring in math and science, while having studied chemistry, anatomy, biology, and fitness and wellness. From knowing the difficulties of math and science, I am very patient during the learning process. Working with students is something I’ve been doing for many years now. While attending Brooklyn College I worked as a BC Navigator aiding prospective college students with the admissions process as well as registration. When speaking to prospective students my aim was to help them to gain insight and get a glimpse on what college life is made up of. Athletically, I am an active volleyball player. I have participated in organized and recreational volleyball for ten years. I was a member of the Brooklyn College Women’s Volleyball team for three years. Although volleyball is my first love I have also studied and participated in track and field.
