Having worked as a beginning piano, music composition, essay writing, and introductory psychology teacher for years, I've learned how to tailor my lessons to the unique needs of every student. My strengths include patience and understanding, qualities I've applied in teaching students ranging in age from 5 to adult. Another thing I think is important in teaching is to keep the student engaged.

I'm currently a PhD Music student at NYU, where I'm working on a written dissertation. I've done a lot scholarly research before, too, and have worked on a published paper. As a composer, I've had my music played many place throughout America, and in Europe. I'm a proficient piano player, and I play keyboard in a band that's given shows around New York City.
