Elementary (K-6th)

I am a certified teacher. I work privately with students of all ages and grades as well as teach full time during the school year. I have a lot of materials and experience to teach K-6th grades. My approach to teaching math is through games and as well as books and many online materials and resources. For reading, writing, and literacy I have also prepared activities that engage students and teach them the material they need to know in order excel at school and in the future. My writing students make transition from paragraph writing into essay writing after 4-5 lessons. I cover grammar, sentence structure, importance of organization of thought and everything in between. My students especially enjoy the topics I assign for Creative Writing and Literature Discussion.

While Studying my students don't only learn school basics but also how to communicate with others and express their feelings and opinions in a educated and civil manner.

I have been teaching and tutoring for The Independent School Entrance Examination--ISEE for nearly 5 years. I have experience both in the Upper and the Lower levels of the exam. I'm a classroom History teacher, and 99% of my students successfully passed their NYS History Regents exams with high marks. I enjoy teaching and waking up every single morning to go to work. Not only do I teach History, but I also teach test taking skills, to give my students a boost of confidence and energy.
