A 2012 Hasselblad Masters finalist, David is a thoroughly experienced, working professional who currently shoots extensively for stock and assignment. He has been working with Adobe Lightroom since its introduction in 2007 and has been a Photoshop retoucher for two decades. For nearly ten years he was an adjunct professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology, known for his easygoing, yet in-depth approach to teaching a broad range of students from around the world.
From beginners to professional photographers and college students to retirees, you'll find David is a comfortable tutor with lots of patience, a sense of humor and complete dedication to your learning experience. It doesn't matter if you have Macintosh computer skills or camera experience, David listens to your expectations and creates lessons based on your needs, and not from a book, to help you get through the "sticky" parts of digital and leapfrog your Macintosh computer (OS 10.9-Mavericks), photography, Photoshop (CS-CC) and Lightroom (1-5) skills to the next level.
And, since Aperture and iPhoto are being discontinued this fall of 2014, he can also show you how to convert your libraries and import them into Lightroom.
Please feel free to contact David with any questions. He'll be glad to help answer them.
