My strong interpersonal skills enable me to communicate effectively with students. In addition, I am a certified mediator in conflict resolution. My experience mediating and negotiating are valuable skills that can be utilized in this position.
I graduated Brooklyn College (CUNY) with a B.S. in Business, Management and Finance. I also have a J.D. from Hofstra Law School. I have tutored students in elementary school in reading, writing, math and recreational activities. As a tutor, I have learned that different children require different approaches to learning and problem solving. As a result, I tailored an individualized teaching strategy to meet each students unique learning styles.
I enjoy working with students. The skills I have mastered in Brooklyn College and law school are ones that I use with my students to assist and encourage them to strive for academic excellence.
