I am a graduate from Cornell University's College of Arts and Sciences. I graduated with a BA in Biological Sciences and a concentration in Neurobiology and Behavior. I am also an aspiring Neurologist and look forward to going to medical school. I have vast experience as a tutor and have worked with students in numerous subject areas from elementary Math to graduate level Biology.
Over the years, I have worked with a number of academic assistance groups including the Advancement Via Individual Determination High School Program and the Cornell University Learning Strategy Center. I have tutored a broad range of subjects including Elementary/High School Mathematics and SAT prep and admit to having a special place in my heart for the sciences especially Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry and Physics.
As a person with a special interest in the arts, I believe that education is integral to the appreciation of life especially when molded to best suit the learner. My approach to tutoring is structured with a number of guiding principles. I believe in helping the student discover his/her learning style and helping in the formation of associations between subject material and relatable examples. At the heart of my tutoring is the desire to inspire. No matter how hard things may seem, with hard work and patience nothing is beyond a willing mind. I love playing and listening to music and I am also a big sports fan. Learning should always be fun so let's get started! We have mountains to move!
