I have been teaching children for the last 35 years. I teach concepts from different sports, and explain how these concepts can help children do better in school. I use examples from Chess, Scuba Diving and Baseball to teach the importance of math and reading, and how these sports help our children focus and do much better as a team player and an overall student. The examples I use are derived from well known physical laws, such as Archimedes' Principles, Charles and Boyles Law, and show children why these important laws would have been irrelevant if not for math. I am a true believer that Scuba Diving,Chess and Baseball, can help any student do 100% better in any activities they are engaged in. I was the Director of E. Gordon Smith Sage Hill Camp in Jamaica Vt, where I taught children the importance of math in association with the above mentioned activities.

Elementary Math

Elementary math is a fun way to learn and communicate more difficult "stuff" children need to learn. I provide a very easy an effective way to demonstrate to children how enjoyable math can be. I use number tricks and fun examples, and before you know it your child will do much better in school. In the process I teach your children how to play "CHESS" and use numbers and notations to make it fun and enjoyable.

I am a certified Scuba Diving Instructor and have been teaching Scuba Diving since 1970.
