I am currently an upper senior at CUNY Queens College, with one semester away from graduation. I have earned my certification in TESOL from Oxford Seminars, and I am studying to earn my B.A. in History, and East Asian studies, while earning an additional degree in Japanese from CUNY Hunter College. In addition to having a wide variety of interests, I am constantly seeking to expand my knowledge on the subjects in which I have dedicated my time to study. Learning is a process without end, and I thoroughly understand the importance of patience, diligence, and tolerance along the quest of acquiring a foreign language. I have been studying Japanese for over four years, and I have experience with tutoring ESL students of various different linguistic backgrounds.
For each subject below, I have listed the specific areas of concentration in which I feel most confident in instructing.
English: Grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and literature.
History: America, Europe, China, Japan, and Africa.
Japanese: Beginning and Intermediate Japanese.
