I have over ten years of experience as a tutor and educational counselor. My experience includes working with all ages and grades from elementary school through college. I have worked with students who have diagnosed and undiagnosed learning as well as behavioral challenges. I understand that each student learns in his/her own creative and unique way, my approach is to help each student find a learning style that works best for them while maximizing their strengths to reach the academic success they desire.

I understand the anger and disappointment that a student(and parents) feels when they are struggling. For many years I was that type of student. I dedicate each tutoring session to highlighting success, no matter how small. Building sustainable goals and creating lasting study/learning skills that build all-around academic success, not just subject-based success.

My experience includes training in Landmark and PACE programs, teaching as well as group/individual counseling. I hold a Masters degrees, in Education. I am conveniently located on the Westchester/NYC border and have flexible hours and rates.
