Good afternoon,

My name is Pamela P. and I am writing to introduce myself as a recent law school graduate seeking to assist students in a wide range of subject matters, including government and law. I am currently awaiting to start work with the City of New York and desire to tutor those who are genuinely interested in learning. I have worked as a tutor for four years with Test Quest Inc., a company which tutors in low-scoring districts of the Department of Education, in its mission to help these students meet their year-to-year requirements. I have tutored children and young adults ranging from Pre-K to High School seniors. I have also volunteer to tutor some of my law school classmates during our tough first year and second year examinations. Most of the work I have done focuses on reading, writing, math and of course, the government and law. During my spare time I play softball in a co-ed league in Queens, NY and have experience playing collegiate softball. I was captain of both my college team and my high school. I am more than willing to give tips, advice and training to anyone who wants rigorous training. Any questions and concerns feel free to contact me and I will respond promptly. I am looking forward to hearing from you and am certain that our experience will be worthwhile.

If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Bar Exam

I was able to take and successfully pass the NY state bar exam on my first attempt. I studied for exactly a month and a half and scored a high of 142.1 on the MBE. If you require more information please let me know.

Baseball

I have played baseball for about 9 years and played under the NCAA for college for three years where I was made captain of my college softball team. I was named softball captain during my high school years for a total of 3 years. I currently play for a co-ed team in Queens, NY (a total of two years). I am a starter 3rd baseman on my current team, but I have often played other positions, including most of the infield and center left. I have a strong arm and various techniques on how to field the ball properly to maximize your abilities.

Elementary (K-6th)

I tutored children from K-12th grade for a company named Test Quest Inc., which works alongside the Department of Education in providing individuals with efficiency in subjects such as math, reading, writing and other subjects tested in the ELA. I have both Dept. of Edu. clearance and experience for four years helping children meet their ELA requirements.

Wonderful tutor — Pamela is a patient and wonderful tutor. She takes her time making sure to explain the math to my daughter so that she understands the math problem. After the tutoring session was over, my daughter said she had fun and advised me that she likes Pamela and looks forward to having more tutoring with her. ...
