I specialize in teaching music such as voice and piano,sight singing, ear training, and composition/songwriting. I work with children, young adults and adults. I am a graduate of Five Towns College of Music in Dix Hills, NY and worked professionally as a music teacher for many years, including starting my own music school called The Master's Touch Music Group in Queens, NY. I feel qualified to teach music and to do so in a way that each student feels not only encouraged, but is enthusiastic about learning and begins to gain confidence.

I also have an extensive background in administrative softwares such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access among others.

Elementary (K-6th)

When I was an elementary school student, I obtained very excellent grades and basically knew every subject. My grades and test scores were in the high percentile of my school. I feel that i have the capability to teach these subjects because of this and also because I have a background in teaching kids.

Music History

I possess a Bachelors Degree in Music. This includes music theory, songwriting and composition, music history, voice, and piano.

Piano

I teach the basics of piano instruction. I teach finger position, chords and scales. I also teach theory so that the student can know how to read and write music on sheet paper.

Music Theory

Along with my instrument proficiency, I also have extensive knowledge of music theory such as sight singing, ear training, harmony, and composition/songwriting. These were courese I took during my high school and college studies and also what I teach to my students in The Master's Touch Music Group. I have the capability to teach more students these subjects very effectively.

Voice (Music)

My bachelor's degree is in Music Performance, which includes voice training. I received 4.5 years of voice training in college and 3 years of voice training in high school. Since then, I have started my own music school in which I also teach voice among other subjects and instruments

Special Needs

I have an extensive amount of time interacting with clients with special needs, including working at the Association for the Advancement of Blind and Retarded, where I interacted with 65 special needs individuals on a daily basis.

Bible Studies

I feel I am qualified to teach Bible Study because I have been an active Christian for 11 years and have thoroughly been studying the Bible that long. I also have had the opportunity to expound on the Bible at my church services.
