I have been teaching physics for 15 years total. This includes experience at a 2 year college (ITT), private/public high school teaching AP Physics, and a semester as a teaching assistant in the PhD program at SUNY Buffalo. I feel that physics is the most important area of human knowledge (with mathematics a close second), and I think this shows when I teach because I have a genuine passion for the subject.
Through my experience over the past several years I have gained a thorough understanding of physics that enables me to explain concepts in a variety of ways. Furthermore, my experience has also given me a lot of insight pertaining to the way students think, the common mistakes they make, and the misconceptions they often hold. I often hear my students tell me it's like I can read their mind!
