I am excited by the opportunity to help you with your English Language Arts skills. As a former English major, I love reading and writing, and would love to share this passion with you.
I am working towards a master's degree in Education/Special Education (Birth-Grade 2), and I have experience both as an assistant and head teacher for preschool through second grade. I enjoy working with students on an individual basis, aiding him or her in bringing out his or her potential. I like to use creative ways for teaching concepts. For instance, in teaching sight word recognition or handwriting, I will have students practice writing with shaving cream.
Learning is a lifelong and enjoyable process, and as much as my students learn from me, I hope to learn both with and from them. I strive to imbue this concept into my students, that they should never lose their curiosity about the world around them nor should they ever cease to ask questions and make inquiries. I love learning, and I hope to imbue this passion into my students.
