Having always been drawn to opportunities that help others learn and make a significant difference in the quality of their lives, it is neither a surprise nor an accident that I am a teacher. My experience includes teaching English and social studies at a middle school, test preparation at a prominent learning center, and for the past six years I have been a GED instructor, teaching basic and academic skills in all five subjects of the exam.
As of January 1st, 2014, the GED exam is going to change dramatically. Subject material, scoring, administering of tests, and cost will all be affected. Previous test scores may no longer be considered valid. Consequently, there is a decided push to get this valued credential as soon as possible. I can help. I have successfully helped many individuals achieve their goal of attaining the GED diploma. My success rate is nearly double that of the national average.
But I am more than a GED teacher, I am a visionary. Certain skills are necessary. The importance of reading comprehension, possessing a clear and strong understanding of math, the ability to speak and write well, cannot be overly emphasized. Time spent learning is never, ever wasted. Education holds the key to success. I would like to have the opportunity to assist in that success, your success.
