I earned my Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2011, with a focus on mathematical modeling and optimization. I am currently a part-time professor at a community college, where I teach Algebra I, Algebra II, Physics I, Physics II, Introduction to Wind Power Technology, and Introduction to Solar Power Technology. With a bachelors degree and doctorate in engineering, I am well versed in mathematics, from pre-algebra through calculus and differential equations. Teaching math is about teaching a methodology and getting my students to understand that process. I enjoy helping others understand mathematics and I have experience in successfully tutoring students in Algebra and Calculus.
