I am a graduate of the New School of Radio and Television. I have worked for Fox23 News in Albany, NY. I work on a current TV comedy as executive producer. Prior to the show I also producing short and feature films. My working experience spans from a Production Assistant, Visual Effects, Editing, Directing, Cinematography and Executive Producing. I have achieved such thing with only 6 years experience in the industry. I have won awards such as best director for my debut film and have written a world war II short novel.
Since high school I have been involved in film. I was President of Shenendehowa High school's film club and writer/producer and director for the broadcasting club in the school. My methods and drives are simple when I tutor. I teach the students what to do and what not to do when doing a production. Whether its a student or a side feature/short film. I will teach all the things needed to get successfully through Pre-Production, Principle Photography and Development as well as the development stages of the films, such as treatment all the way to its final draft.
I show students what teachers in school don't tell or even know. I have talked and worked with high school and college professors on film and shockingly they had know knowledge on why you should choose wide shots over close ups. They did not know why you should truck left or truck right. They could not understand why your should racket in and out of focus to set the mood in a shot. They couldn't grasp the concept why its needed in certain scenes. I show students how to think outside of the box and think more about he technical aspect of things not the theory of film and video production.
