I have a variety of background in informal education that makes me an excellent tutor. I have a B.A. in History, and an M.A. in Public History. I received my certification in Museum Studies and have been an educator at various museums for several years.
I am a certified tutor, participating in a semester of training. I worked at the Marsha Sharp Center for Student Athletes at Texas Tech University, tutoring student athletes in a variety of subjects on a full time basis.
I currently attend Lehman College pursuing an M.S. in Science Education. I am a New York City Teaching Fellow, and have a transitional certificate for grades 7-12 in Earth Science. I am teaching summer school in July and will be a full time high school teacher in Earth Science as of September.
I can assist with study skills, testing, and in all areas of History and Earth Science (geology, physical geology, historical geology, astronomy, water systems, meteorology, weather, oceanography, climatology, etc. )
