My philosophy towards education - To Read is to Learn, to Write is to Understand, to Teach is to Master. I feel that students must complete all the components of this philosophy to become truly proficient in literature and writing. Language is all around us: songs, poems, conversations, rhetoric, body language, signs, stories. To understand and apply language, we must take into account the wide diversity of language and learn what each can teach us. The final ingredient to becoming proficient in any subject is curiousity. Rarely are the answers as engaging as the questions that provoke thought.
I look forward to discovering more about language and the art of communication with students of all ages.
