Ranging from the earliest beginner to the most seasoned professional, all musicians need some form of instruction and feedback. The voice is a complicated instrument that is slightly different for every individual. It’s character is made up so many different factors it is nearly impossible to learn how to sing well based on a single set of instructions. The process of building a voice is an exciting journey that I hope to take with you as we discover what works.

I have studied music at the university level and have tutored students in my years there as well both in private and group setting including a paid tutoring position at the university.

Having been a student of music myself, I have learned that musical talent is an ongoing process no matter what level you are. While students are developing their own individual skill and craft, I am also working to improve myself as a teacher and musician. While studying Choral Music Education at Brigham Young University- Idaho, I realized that our learning is best done as a collective effort. In the case of music lessons, it requires the attention and focus of the student, teacher and parents. As a team, we can accomplish the greatest of goals.
